Mass Effect series

It's been five years since the last Mass Effect videogame series ended, four years including its additional content and since I played it last.

There's a new game from the series coming out next week, Mass Effect: Andromeda. I'm looking forward to it, and to prepare I decided to watch 'cinematic' edited videos of the play through of the original series on YouTube. Even without the gameplay, it works as a season of a good TV show.

Parts 1 and 2 are still great after all these years, but part 3 really shines as a culmination of the previous two and how Bioware perfected the formula. It is a great example of how videogames are an art form.
