Blocks Edit mobile email editingThe first quarter of this year, we've been hard at work on launching a big new feature for Blocks Edit: mobile content editing, for the editor to switch to a mobile view for previewing, and to make edits in directly. This changed a lot of the underlying code structure which also allowed us to greatly improve performance and stability. At the same time, we also upgraded our servers and our technical workflow, internally bringing us to version 2.0! Traction in marketingOn the marketing side of things, I recently finished a book that I've spent the last year on: Traction by Gabriel Weinberg and Justin Mares. I was hooked on the first part of book and its central premise of using marketing channels effectively by focusing on the ones that are most relevant to your product. That was enough for me to start brainstorming my own strategy based on this approach, and a year later I managed to actually put it into practice. So I decided to go back and finish reading its remaining chapters, diving into each of the nineteen marketing channels it introduced. Finding freedomThis past month, I also read How I Found Freedom in an Unfree World by Harry Browne. It's one of those books-I-wished-I-read sooner. Based on a very deep understanding of what it means to be free, the book offers practical advice to analyze and realize what your personal version of freedom means. Being a lunaticLunatics is a new series on Netflix by Chris Lilley, known for creating and playing a range of funny, memorable characters. His new one doesn't disappoint as he plays six different people who are kinda crazy, but also unapologetically themselves. |
