Something finished: Lifehacks comic book series

This past year, I finished my Lifehacks series. And it's now available in its entirety. There are no specific plans for my next comic project right now, just an idea for a new series that I'm still fleshing out.

And something started: Blocks Edit email production web app

Also this part year, and related to why I'm not working on my next comic book project; I launched my new web app startup, an email production tool I call Blocks Edit. It's for people who build and edit custom designed emails regularly. I'm actually using it as I type this, in this fancy new template.

Some recommended reading

I managed to get some good reading in this past year as well. Starting with The Power of Habit by Charles Duhigg on how we form habits, how we can change them, and develop new ones. On design, Badass: Making Users Awesome by Kathy Sierra about what to focus on when we make apps or any product and how to connect to the people that would want to use them. On art, Zen in the Art of Writing by Mr. Ray Bradbury is a collection of thoughts on writing fiction and working on something you're passionate about. On tech, WTF? What's the Future and Why It's Up to Us by Tim O'Reilly who covers the big technologies of today and how they will impact the future. And Flow: The Psychology of Optimal Experience by Mihaly Csikszentmihalyi on a discovering a blissful state of meaningful work.
