My approach to eating and living healthierThis past year I've transitioned to primarily plant-based eating, eliminating meat and dairy, and processed foods from my diet, while reducing salt, sugar and oils. I'm working on an article on how the transition worked for me and how I've learned that the way we eat is essentially a mix of habits and what we do for fun. Recommendations and stuffIn celebration of the 10th anniversary of Breaking Bad, I decided to rewatch the series this past month (it's on Netflix). Man, it really is so well-written! I also finished the first season of a new show, Patriot on Amazon Prime), which reminds me of Breaking Bad in some ways, but with more humor, making it almost a dark comedy/disturbing drama. I also read the book The Courage to Be Disliked which I got into so much that I finished within a couple of weeks (it's also an easy read). What got me to read it were notes for the book by Derek Sivers. Even if you decide not to read the book, those notes are at least worth the read. |
