Change for change's sake
Reading time: 1-2 minutes
This past month I was in Romania visiting family I hadn’t seen in about 8 years. While there, I spent a majority of my time at a bar/cafe that my aunt and uncle own.
Being a million miles away from home, I started reflecting on things and eventually started thinking about big life changes that I felt I needed to make. However, the more I thought about it, the more it seemed like I had to essentially throw away many aspects that were currently going well in order to make room for the drastic changes. It can be easy getting lost in what we should change in our lives for our goals and miss what we already have for them.
Realizing this, I started to focus on the things I could do with what I had to work with instead while leaving open the possibility for change when it made sense. Back from my trip with this in mind, I have a new sense of inspiration going forward.
Keep in touch and get updates on what I'm working on and thinking about.
