Internal monologueThe days are blurring. These past 6-7 weeks of quarantine seem to have quietly flown by. It's been almost a year in my new place now. As excited as I was staying home all the time after I moved in, literally staying in all the time for so long has been making me antsy. The only outings I have are to visit my parents and my brother once or twice a week. External actionsAnd it seems like every US city and state is getting antsy as well with people protesting for places to be open again. Even in Las Vegas for some incomprehensible reason. We're starting to get some real data showing progress with quarantine, and somehow things are getting politicized to the point that some people seem to be ignoring the results. At least masks may be a safer way to go out if we're going to do it anyway! My comics on ComixologyOn a more positive note, both Hacktivity and Lifehacks, the comics I wrote a few years ago, are now available on Comixology's Unlimited subscription service. And the first issue of each is also on Comixology (non-subscription) for free. The Beastie Boys StoryThe only thing I've actually wanted to watch on Apple TV+ so far is the Spike Jonze Beastie Boys documentary. If you've bought an Apple device since last September, you may have a free subscription of Apple TV+ and not even realize it. This would be a reason to check if you do! Two shows ending their 3-season runElsewhere, on Hulu, Future Man, and Legion, two fine shows, with similar amounts of episodes, have recently come to an end with their third and final seasons. And it's unfortunate because I've sorta run out of shows to watch at this point. What shows are you watching? Please reply and let me know! You've signed up for Ovi's updates to get this email. |
